Johnny’s obsession with radio started when he tried to get on the radio aged three by trying to eat it. However, since then he realised that this is not possible which led him to working at some of the countries leading radio stations and radio production companies.
Johnny is now working as the celebrity producer for talkRADIO booking and interviewing the biggest names in showbiz.
Johnny sits on the London and South East committee of the Radio Academy and gives talks to schools about why students may want to look at careers in the media and specifically the radio industry.
Prior to this he was the assistant producer on the Paul Ross Full Set Breakfast on talkRADIO, entertainment journalist at audioBoom presenting and producing entertainment interviews and documentaries. In 2015 Johnny was nominated for the Culture award at the Midland Media Awards. In 2014, Johnny was nominated ‘Best Journalistic Programming’ and ‘The Kevin Greening Creativity Award’ at the Student Radio Awards sponsored by BBC Radio 1 and Global Radio.
